Looking for the best wood fence preserver?

This has to be the best treatment for your fence!

If you are looking for a really good Wood fence preserver / wood fence stain this spring / summer, and are fed up with feeling ripped off by big chains selling expensive, poor quality branded treatments, then look no further, your search has just come to an end!

Rye Oil Decking oil

This is by far the best wood fence preserver I have come across, it is crystal clear, odourless, soaks in quickly and dries within a day. Can be used on decking or fencing. It comes in a massive 20 litre container too so huge coverage at a very, very good price.

I have used this several times after asking a neighbour what he treated his fence with. I have just recently found it available on Amazon.

Clean your fence with a pressure washer, let it dry and spray this on or you can apply this clear wood fence preserver straight onto your new fence.

This wood fence preserver is excellent, and when you buy it in this volume, it is less than half the price of main brands. This huge 20 litre container will cover a serious load of fencing.

This wood fence preserver is a thin oil and can be applied by sprayer or brush and lasts for years. It is sprayable, does not clog your sprayer nozzle and has good solvency properties with high oxidation stability.

As well as excellent UV protection there is no pealing, flaking or blistering. It also helps to reduce algae and fungi attacking the wood and will give a matt wet rich look to the timber enhancing the grain by bringing out its natural colour.

I can honestly say there is virtually no odor with this wood preserver. Even spraying for long periods (all afternoon) I felt fine. I wore a hat, a long sleeved top and some safety glasses with no problems. I have in the past use wood fence stains and preservers that have left me with rashes and sore eyes.

Before you start, if your fence has been up for a year or more, it is a good idea to pressure wash your fence to get any grey grime or dirt off. Leave it to dry for a day or so and when you have a few days of dry weather ahead of you, apply it.

Applying it to a new fence would be a good idea as it would help to preserve that new look of your fence.
